IS Solutions' award winning Communication Design Studio was established in 1996 and has provided the communication layer, on top of the Development Services, for both in-house and external technical teams delivering user centric online solutions.

Digital Strategy
A well researched Information Architecture provides the building blocks of the creative design. Although it is tempting to bypass certain exercises within the strategic phase of a project, in favour of spending time on more tangible design visuals, in many ways the process of information gathering and strategy formulated here can greatly affect the level of success later on. We work with our clients to develop their Digital Strategy, balancing customer journeys and user personalities with business objectives and progress these to user scenarios that, in turn, can be used to test against the project. Wireframe diagrams are an important deliverable within the Information Architecture process at the early stages of a project as they can give an easily editable, yet potentially very detailed, step by step picture of important processes from both user and business prospective.
Creative Design
There is no point putting something online if it doesn't communicate and the "creative" is the communication tool. By devising a comprehensive Information Architecture we can present our clients' message(s), staying on brand, to the identified audience in the most appropriate way enabling clear and concise user-focused interaction.
Production
The production phase can be simply described as taking the conceptual Creative Design and developing it into a working environment, including any graphical elements and, if appropriate, interactive media such as Flash and Video, whilst ensuring that the finished product is still providing the expected trustworthy and engaging user experience. Simple! The production phase also has responsibility for ensuring Brand, Browser Search Engine and Accessibility compliance.
